Bangers or Bust

As you may or may not know the industry of concentrates is pretty new. I started to see concentrates become very popular about five years ago here in SoCal. As it is with any new industry, companies scrambled to manufacture products compatible for the new industry. Enter; the bangers.

 

My Only Choice, a Poor Choice

So in the early days of the concentrate explosion we were limited to sub-par rigs and horrible attachments. Where do I start with my annoyance of the banger? Between the necessity of having to clean it every time it is used for a new flavor concentrate, to having the vape blowing into the wind, the banger has never been for me.

 

Burnt Bottom Bangers

My first issue with bangers has always been what I refer to as “burnt bottom.” For example, if I am using a POW and I want to change over to a pineapple express, I have to clean out the bottom of my banger in order to not contaminate my flavors. I have to do this each time I switch concentrates. I’ve heard people say that is BS, who cares. Well if you are going to spend the money on concentrates why would you not want to enjoy the whole experience? The flavors are my favorite part. I’m always like a little kid on Christmas Eve, before I try a new style.

 

What a Waste

So now I want to change concentrates so I have to clean the bottom of my banger. Well there are a number of different ways I can try to collect my overage. None of these choices are efficient. I can’t just wipe it out with a Kleenex or rag. The thought of that makes my gut hurt just thinking about it. So my options are limited and suck.

 

Even More Waste

If the seepage is not enough to waste your product, the banger design itself will. One of the issues I had with the banger is less is more for me in concentrates. I don’t need to do the 5g smokes. That seems just a waste to me. It seems in my experience because of the design and airflow issue, due to the fact that my banger and attachments were not one piece, I seemed to have to use more product to achieve the vape level and quantity I wanted.

You see people dropping the big 1g-5g snakes in these bangers, and the vape seems to be blowing everywhere but where it needs to be. Yeah there are some big hits I’ve seen, but a lot of wasted vape goes along with that. Even if you are not doing pigs, a lot of product is necessary for a nice pull in a typical banger.

 

Angles are Everything

Now that I have painfully cleaned my banger I sit back with a thought. Why does my banger have a 45 angle?! Why is this necessary? Why am I trying to take the longest path between my vape and me? There is already very little vape containment in a standard banger anyway. Whatever happened to the idea of one piece one bowl? I know the vape heads have all their theories on vape distance, heat, temps, and such. To each his own I guess, but it is very bewildering to me. Some will say it is because of the design of the rigs. There are plenty of good rigs out there that does not require this attachment.

 

Multiple Attachments? Are These Legos?

The other point that has kept me away from bangers is that in most cases they require at least 1-2 other attachments before it is connected to the rig. If you are going use a banger you at least need a reclaimer, or drop down. This will give you a place for your overage. Without a reclaimer with your banger you’re simply pissing away all your overage. Reclaim is a good thing. Why waste it? You can imagine, or know the pain, with these multiple attachments you get a lot of seepage in your connector locations. It is always a heart-breaker when you attempt to retrieve that seepage cleanly and can’t.

 

I am a Simple Person

I am a simple person. When I am doing something I enjoy I don’t like it to be work and stressful. I almost gave up concentrates because the products out there just were not working for me. That is why the INFINITY DROPP™ exists. Now I retain all my overage and I’m not wasting anything. Now I’m having such a better experience with my concentrates.

 

 

 

Not Bashing Products

As we have stated many times before, we are here to help. I know there are a ton of experts, and self-proclaimed experts, out there on the internet and at the shows. Sometimes this becomes a little overwhelming to the newbies. That’s why we are here. We will give you the straight layman’s definition and share our experiences with you.

Unfortunately in our community there are a lot of “bud bullies.” Seems strange, but they’re out there. There are a lot of really cool people out there as well looking to help. We are one example of the cool people. We want to give you our candid opinion to help you make the best choices for you. The world of concentrates can be intimidating.

Yes we are biased in our attachment, but it exists because we were looking to improve what was already out there. We have tried every style nail, attachment, and rig there is and a lot of them of poor quality and performance. We can help.
