My stepfather won the store in a pool game 20 years ago. 50 games double or nothing. He won every game the amount was $60,000. The said do you want The Kind Connection? He said yes. My Stepfathers name is Dale Hadaway. The first store is in Bullhead City. That store is still up and running. He then meet my mom and she started working there with him. They had that location for almost 5 year before they opened up a new store in Flagstaff Arizona. After about 3 years of that store doing amazing they opened another one up in Yuma. My mom Vicky Hadaway right beside him this whole time living in the store or there van while it was getting up and going, but his dream was to open a store in Lake Havasu City where they live but the city wouldn’t let them. In September of 2010 his wish came true. He opened a store in Lake Havasu City and closed down the Flagstaff store. He has worked really hard to get The Kind Connection Lake
Havasu City Arizona up and going. In 2011 the doctor told him that they had to take his right leg off, so I came down from Colorado to help my mom and him out. I got here in February of 2011. I took care of Dale during the day and worked at The Kind Connection Smoke Shop at night. Taking Dale to all of his doctor apts and taking him in to work while he showed me the way of the Smoke Shop life and how to run it and order and make a dime. In August 19th 2011 he passed away. The store was to my mom. She asked me to run it. I said yes. It has been a learning experience some ups and downs but we own both of our buildings and my mom sold the Yuma location and opened Mama Bears Wearables were we sell both clothes and body jewelry and gauges and so much more. Dales Dream was to have a walk in humidor and he built it before he died, it’s called Dales Dream. We have everything you can think of in our store from water pipes, hand pipes, tobacco and cigars and much much more. Dale comes to me in my dreams every now and then and helps me out, I believes he watches over the shop. This last couple weeks he came to me in a dream and said order less quantity and more inventory so that is my mission in 2017 to do just that. This is my store. We have 2 locations, Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City. I made our mission statement: To Be Kind, our saying is to Be Kind. I started saying Hi to everyone that walked in the door and telling everyone good bye and have a nice day as they left. I like to think that every customer that walks in to our store as family and treat them that way. We are #1 smoke shop in Lake Havasu City and people come from all over to see us. We have people that come from California and all the way 
from Illinois. We have people that drive 4 hours just to come in to our store. Everyone tells us we have to most friendly staff and knowledgeable staff. We also tell everyone Be Kind Hope you enjoyed my store and Don’t forget to BE KIND!!!!!
